If you want to lose a few pounds, but are having trouble to succeed, here is the solution: start your healthy lifestyle with a friend!

British research shows that working out and eating healthy together with a friend helps you to successfully lose weight. On average, women lose 10 pounds/4,5 kg more when they watch what they eat and work out with a friend. 20 percent of all women that work out alone do not lose weight at all.

7 in 10 women indicate that it’s easier to work out when doing this with a friend. A nice additional side effect is that those women experienced that the friendship increased. Researcher Sian Lewis stated that “it can be quite difficult to make time, enthusiasm and energy for working out alone. Having a friend to motivate you to work out together can make a major difference. Working out is then namely not only about getting sweaty and losing weight, but also about catching up and spending quality time with each other.”
