Grilled sandwiches are tasty and easy to make! But the regular ham and cheese combination tends to get a bit boring. Fortunately, we can make numerous different combinations: different types of bread, cheese, meat, etc. A grilled sandwich can be a good lunch, just as long as you keep the fatty sauces (the white ones!) in the fridge, or even better, in the store! Those will make you fat..
One of my favorite combinations:
Goat cheese with honey
Ingredients
for 2 persons
80 grams soft goat cheese
4 slices of muesli bread
20 grams of low-fat margarine (5 grams/slice)
2 slices of grilled ham
2 spoons of honey
1 tea spoon of dried thyme (optional)
Preparation
1. Spread 5 grams of margarine on each slice of bread
2. put 1 slice of ham, 40 grams of goat cheese and 1 spoon of honey on 2 sices (buttered side)
3. add ¼ tea spoon of thyme on each of the 2 of the slices.
4. put the other 2 slices of bread on top of them and grill them for 4-6 minutes until they are nice golden brown.
Enjoy your lunch!
