Hey everybody. I just got on here cause I've already lost 100 lbs since graduating high school almost 7 years ago, but I need to work on maintaining what I've accomplished.
My biggest reason for posting was I wanted to let you all know I struggled with being overweight almost my whole life, especially in high school - BUT IT IS POSSIBLE TO SUCCEED! Set definitive but realistic goal with a time frame, *do the work*(I know this seems like the hard part, but it's really not that bad), and HAVE FUN WITH IT!
Hi everybody! I'm new to virtuagym and am just working my way around. I've been in denial and slowly watching my weight raise and raise and tonight decided that enough is enough! So here I am. Have had the virtuagym app on my tablet for months too, and never even realized it had all these features on this website until tonight :) am feeling very confident albeit a bit nervous too! I have 7 stone to lose and my biggest challenge will be finding time to concentrate on myself, as a part-time student, a mum of 3 and a homeschooler, time is not something I have a lot of! But I know the need to lose this weight and be healthy is important, I need to be a role model for my girls :) Hope you are all enjoying successful journeys yourselves too! Karen
Hi! I am 46 years old & have been reasonably healthy & fit most of my life. About 12 years ago I went through some very stressful times & my weight went from 145 to 425. Over the past few years I've gotten back down to 205lbs.That's where I was when I joined my gym 8 weeks ago. I'm doing pretty well with my workouts but I'm having trouble staying on track with my eating habits.I eat pretty healthy meals but i'm having trouble getting a breakfast routine going & i'm tired of meal replacement bars. Right now most mornings breakfast consists of a cup of coffee& a cigarette in my car on the way to work.Any suggestions to help me break these 2 bad habits?Cereal is out of the question because I'm not supposed to have any dairy or wheat for at least the next 30 days.
