why cant i listen to music while in virtu gym app ? :( I mean i can until i open the counter of the sets and reps (where it shows how to do the exercise) then i cant :(

I've had this app on my phone for 2 years now, great app. though i have a suggestion, is it possible for a preview for the next set/exercise to be shown during the rest period between the sets. That way new users can know what they have to do for the next exercise before it starts.

Great Job! The app works without any mistake on my Samsung Galaxy S+. All videos are available. Sync between phone and website is ok.

@sharita922: if you go back to the list of activities for a day (the previous screen), you can press the sync icon (top right) to synchronize & download the pictures and images for the activities you have added. Have to admit, the text of that message can be improved ;)

Hi, I'm trying to use a few of the workouts on my galaxy tab and I'm getting a message to "please sync in dayview to download content." Not sure what this means. Please help. :)

@getinshapetotravel: yeah, that's a good idea. We're investigating how to approach this: since the Amazon store is not available outside the US, testing is a bit tricky for us.

@pixie_mu: the app should be fixed regarding the units (lbs and kg). Please log out and in again on the app and the app will use the website settings correctly. We will add it to the settings asap! :)

I love that I can update the weight and the exercise on the app! Would like to be able to change my preferences on the app for lb vs. kg, so I can get the weight entered correctly. :)

ran ok for first few uses, but now crashes and goes to "force close" everytime I try to sync... I loaded a new workout which had 3 running activities every Friday. Says "sync in dayview" to get content" but crashes each time I try it...

Hi,
I've problems reproducing the video exercices in my Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 with 2.3.7 Android. I can only reproduce videos with timers, the videos with reps pops me an error. Some idea? Thank you :)

OK.. The units appear correctly on the website but not on the app. I will check again. Didn't know that the Delete option would appear after the checkbox is selected. Got it. Thanks!

Thanks Jeffrey! You can set your units in the settings on the website. Go to Settings -> Personal and select your unit preference there. You can remove an activity by selecting the checkbox next to the activity and click the delete button below. This works both on the app and website.

Hey Hugo, thanks for contacting me. And may I say GREAT job on the new version of the tracker for Android. One thing I noticed is that I could not find a way to view the data in pounds and inches. Also there seems to be no way to remove activities from the daily list. Have I missed something?

just tried to sent you a bug report to apps@virtuagym.com but it didn't work.
so I copypaste it here:

Dear Team,

I just started using your app and it is quite nice but I stumbled on a Problem:
In most of the exercise in my workout a popup tells me that the video to the exercise can not be displayed.
When I start it anyway the screen goes black and the counter counts down one time and then stops.
The only possibility to go further is to swipe to the next exercise but then having no counter for break time.
(Mobile: LG GT540 with Android 2.3.7)

Hi Everyone,

It has took us a bit longer than expected, but version 2.0 of our Android app has hit the Android Market. And the best thing, it's still for free!

You can now track your activities and stats with your phone and everything is synced automatically to your online account. Add your plans online and then sync them to your phone to take them anywhere!

Feedback on the update is always very much appreciated. Enjoy!
